Overview

Baraka - Moroccan Restaurant, nestled at Lausitzer Platz 6 in Berlin, offers a genuine taste of Morocco’s rich culinary heritage. This cozy spot excels in serving traditional dishes like succulent Tajine Oase, flavorful Schawarmateller, and a variety of vegan options including falafel sandwiches and vegetarian couscous. Each plate carries the depth of Moroccan spices balanced with fresh ingredients, capturing an authentic experience that transports diners far beyond the city.

The restaurant’s atmosphere complements the food beautifully. With its warm, tasteful décor and inviting ambiance, Baraka provides a peaceful retreat for both casual diners and those seeking a more intimate meal. Outdoor seating enhances the experience during warmer months, allowing guests to savor their Moroccan mint tea or hearty harira soup while enjoying Berlin’s lively neighborhood vibe.

Baraka’s attention to customer needs shines through in its attentive service. Whether accommodating multiple dietary restrictions or recommending their house-made Jus de Citron, the staff’s kindness and professionalism enrich every visit. This care, combined with the robust flavors and wholesome recipes, makes it a favored destination among locals and visitors alike.

One practical note for visitors: Baraka operates on a cash-only basis, an aspect some might find inconvenient in an otherwise seamless experience. Additionally, indoor seating can be affected by kitchen smoke, which suggests opting for outdoor tables when possible.

In all, Baraka is more than a meal—it’s a cultural journey for the senses. Perfect for those craving authentic Moroccan cuisine in Berlin, it appeals to food lovers appreciative of nuanced spice blends, refreshing tea rituals, and a welcoming space that feels like a small oasis in the city.

The food was undoubtedly delicious and completely worth trying. That being said, there are some points that are big turnoffs for me: 1. Despite the moderately high prices, the venue does not take card payments, which is odd, given we’re in 2025. This is something I really wish they’d work on. 2. The amount of smoke coming into the room started giving us a burning sensation on our eyes. I wish they had a better separation of the kitchen and the seating area. All in all though, it is a great experience and worth coming for another visit. But maybe next time I’ll be sitting outside, when the weather allows and will come with my wallet prepared.

We had multiple allergies in our group, the manager came to speak with everyone and ensure that everyone’s dietary requirements were met which was very sweet. The atmosphere of the restaurant was really nice and beautifully decorated. We had a tasting plate with a little of everything it was so delicious and we all enjoyed all of the dishes. Would bring people back here next time I’m in Berlin!

Food is delicious and service is great! The place is quite and the atmosphere very pleasant. We had vegetarian cous cous, ful, bakkula and harira. Everything was very tasty. Coffee was also great and you can have it also unsweetened, which I appreciate a lot. Very recommended! I'll come back for sure!

Not gonna lie, I am a foodie and we have a google maps list with 100+ places to go eat and drink, but this is definitely on top of my recommendations for anyone who visits Berlin. The food is incredible nothing will ever top a good warm meal that was made like this, yes maybe trendy places and boozy slushies are what you want, but it’s not comparable to the best falafel I’ve had, don’t even get me started on the spiced rice with dried fruits! We came here pretty late after not finding a place to eat and it blew our minds. The service was so nice too! Our waiter was super nice and came to ask if everything was alright with a big smile. Def coming back, thank you!

The food is 5/5. The Lamb is top notch. Everyone that worked there were polite and helpful and kind. Ambience is really nice outside to sit and eat in summer. We loved everything we tried. Will definitely come back again. Price performance ratio is quite good for their quantity and quality. Just be aware it’s only cash payment so carry cash when visiting here.

Absolutely incredible experience at Baraka! The food was 10/10 - the lamb tajine was otherworldly: tender meat that fell off the bone, full of deep, fragrant flavors, and it literally melted in your mouth. We also had the halloumi plates with amazing dips and finished off with baklava that was just perfect. The staff were extremely friendly and welcoming - something you don’t get in Berlin that often! Can’t wait to come back. Highly recommend this gem!

A very nice restaurant with tasty food. They have a big terrace with plenty of seats, so you don’t need a reservation if you’re not a big group. We tried Tajine Oase and Tajine Casablanca. The portions are big and the food is delicious. The service is fast and everyone is friendly. We also liked black tea with rose water. Definitely recommend!
